Happy Hanukkah, Lancers! As you enjoy your winter break, we at the Chronicle hope that you find time to spend it with the people you love most.
Hanukkah encompasses a variety of historical traditions that have been passed down and evolved over the years. From the potato pancakes called latkes to the fried jelly-filled donuts known as sufganiyot, Hanukkah is about bringing family together, pushing through adversity, and fighting for what you believe in. For eight days during the winter, Hanukkah brings everyone together through spinning a dreidel, eating food, reading the Torah, and lighting the Hanukkiah.
